About Angelika

Angelika has been born and raised in Germany. She graduated 22 years ago from one of Germany’s prestigious midwifery schools at the Frauenklinik Berlin/Neukoelln. There, midwives receive a three year training in both the medical and humanistic aspects of midwifery. After many years of hospital experience and after her first son was born at home, she settled into her private midwifery practice in 1992.
Angelika is the mother of five and the grandmother of three children. She has been an active Waldorf parent for 25 years and studied at the Waldorf teacher training in San Francisco. Currently Angelika is licensed to practice midwifery in California and in the EU.
